2023 Summer Update

It has been an incredible joy and honor to get to grow food for our community! So far this year, we have donated 605.7lbs of fresh produce to our neighbors at Cedar Point. The produce has been snatched up. I've heard of families freezing and preserving some of it and using it to make delicious meals. I am loving knowing exactly where our produce is going and how it is serving families directly.

North Ridge Community Garden Project

Welcome!

This is a brand new initiative at North Ridge Church, with a simple and profound vision to provide food for neighbors and build connections to be a blessing in their lives.  As we have grown and built relationships, we have been given even more opportunities than we imagined. The North Ridge Garden is a part of a larger ministry to our city, Tabernacle Co. This ministry is a concentrated effort to reach the triangle through FEAST (Dinner & Worship), CITIZENS  (Discipleship) and KINGDOM GARDENS. Find out more about Tabernacle Co. by CLICKING HERE

Kingdom Gardens exists to love, serve, and engage our city. Our goal is to engage generations, both young and old, through loving and caring for nature, learning sustainability practices, valuing local community, and pursuing a relationship with Jesus through growing, preserving, cooking and sharing food together.

What do we offer?

We currently work with two local gardens in Raleigh.

1. North Ridge Community Garden (Workdays on every 2nd Saturday // March-Oct)
2. Liberty Community Garden (Workdays on every 4th Saturday // March- Oct)
