Welcome!
We are so glad you are here.

We hope you will quickly feel right at home as a part of our church family! If you're a regular person, with ups and downs, accomplishments and failures, strengths and weaknesses... you'll fit right in. We bring it all to Christ, together.

North Ridge Church is pursuing a passion for Jesus. We are a church not living for ourselves, joyfully loving our city, and bringing hope to the nations

A NEW SEASON OF TRANSITION

North Ridge Church is in a season of leadership transition, as Pastor Sam & Deborah McGarvey concluded their ministry at the end of September.  We continue to pray for the McGarvey's as they move into a new chapter of ministry as well as partial retirement.  Meanwhile, we believe this is a benchmark time of significance and value at North Ridge Church.  Not only can we be confident the Lord is leading us, we know He is actively moving among us.  He has wonderful things for us in this journey through transition, not just at the resolution point!  In December of 2022, we hired Dan Seaman to become the Lead Pastor here at North Ridge Church. We are excited for the years ahead.

NOTE FROM NEW PASTOR

Dan Seaman

Amy and I would like to thank you, our North Ridge Church family, for your love, friendship, and support as we've lived and served the Lord alongside you for 25 years.  You have seen us as a brand new married couple, just barely beginning to learn ministry and frankly- life as adults.  You've blessed us as we started a family, you've taken care of our babies in the nursery, taught our kids in Sunday School, and continued to love them to and through their teen years and into young adulthood themselves.  Along the way, you've shown much patience, grace, and understanding when I've struggled, made mistakes, learned lessons.  You've encouraged me in countless ways in the long daily process of growing as a brother in Christ and as one of your pastors.  I loved being Youth Pastor.  I loved being Equipping Pastor.  I am truly humbled, grateful, and honored to serve as Lead Pastor in the church I love so dearly.  In many ways I've never felt more green, for all the many wonderful years of learning and growing here at North Ridge.  I have a lot to learn, a lot I'm looking forward to, and more dependence than ever on the faithfulness of the Lord and the fellowship of brothers and sisters in Him.  Thank you for your prayer and partnership!  It is now our joy to press onward with you, forward together in our passion for Jesus. To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen (Eph.3:21).

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever, Amen! (Heb.13:20-21)

SERVICE

We have one Sunday morning service at 10:30, which is both in-person and live streamed. Classes will begin at 9:00.

We believe the Lord has a special season ahead for North Ridge Church, even though it involves such a significant pastoral transition. Being able to gather and worship all together is a joy we’re looking forward to! When the time comes and we need more. Our service is streamed live.

STYLE

At North Ridge you'll find a wide range of young and seasoned adults, as well as many singles, couples, families, and kids, and all in a wide variety of casual to formal dress. Anyone with a sincere worshipful or seeking heart is welcome!

We usually celebrate the Lord's Supper (Communion) on the first Sunday of each month. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, and He is your Lord, you are welcome to participate in Communion; you don't have to be a member of North Ridge Church.

After the service, it is common for people to spend time in response, receiving or ministering in prayer for one another in the front or throughout the sanctuary as needed. Always feel free to come forward during or after a service; we would be honored to serve you in prayer ministry for any need in your life. It is our joy to listen, and respond in Jesus' name as He directs.

For Children & Families

SUNDAY MORNING NRC KIDS

Kid's Classes 9:00-10:00 are led by teachers in age/grade-based groups, including 2-4 year olds, K-2nd grade, and 3rd-5th grade.

Kids Classes Check-In and Check-Out take place in the Kids Building

Kid’s Church during the 10:30 service is for kids Pre-K through grade 5.

Each Sunday the children will be dismissed part of the way through the service so that they can participate with their families and church family together in worship. When it’s time, they will go back to the church lobby where Kid’s Church leaders will help them line up in their classes and lead them back to the Kid’s Building.

Kid's Church Check-In is in the church lobby before the service begins.  When they’re checked in, kids will receive a “ticket” for Kid’s Church that day, which they’ll give to their leaders as they line up.  Parents will be given the other matching half of the ticket for pick-up after church.

Kid's Church Check-Out takes place in the Kids Building (directly behind the sanctuary). Parents (or a responsible family member) must bring their side of the child's ticket for check-out.

Nursery Care is available 9:00-12:00 for infants and toddlers, to cover the groups/classes hour as well as the whole 10:30 service.  Parents are welcome to check in their child at any point during that time.  They may pick up their child for a break in-between the classes hour and worship service, or have their child remain in Nursery Care throughout- whichever is best for their child.

Location & Parking

We are located at 7601 Falls of Neuse Rd, in North Raleigh, just north of Ravenscroft School, or 1.5 miles south of I-540.  There are two entrances to our campus, with plenty of parking in front and behind the main church building.  The front doors to the church are located directly underneath the tall brick tower with a white cross, easily seen from down the street.  The NRC Kids Education Building is directly behind the sanctuary, and next to that you'll see the Family Life Center, home of the North Ridge Basketball Academy.
